Asked plainly, answered plainly.
The questions patients ask most often about longevity diagnostics, therapies and how we work at minus10med. Each answer is also available as its own page for easy sharing.
-
What is biological age and how do you measure it?
Biological age reflects how old your body functions. minus10med measures it from epigenetic markers, blood biomarkers, body composition and cardiopulmonary performance, then tracks change over time.
-
What happens during the AI-Guided Diagnostics day?
One private day in Athens covering whole body MRI, coronary calcium scoring, DEXA, genomic and epigenetic testing, cardiopulmonary performance, skin mapping and cognitive assessment, reviewed within 72 hours.
-
Is a whole body MRI safe?
MRI uses magnetic fields rather than ionizing radiation. The main consideration is incidental findings, which is why every scan is interpreted by radiologists within a physician-led protocol.
-
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required. Every program begins with a consultation with the medical team, who confirm that the diagnostics and therapies are appropriate for you.
-
Can I start with a video consultation?
Yes. Initial consultations are available by secure video in English, French, German and Greek, and international clients often review existing health data remotely before visiting Athens.
-
How is minus10med different from an executive checkup?
An executive checkup screens for existing disease at one point in time. minus10med measures how fast you are aging, treats pre-symptomatic pathology and monitors continuously against your own baseline.
-
How often should I repeat diagnostics?
Core blood and body composition markers are typically rechecked every three to six months while a protocol is active. Imaging and genomic panels usually follow an annual cadence.
